OUR SWIMWEAR LAUNCH IN PARADISE

October 4, 2017
To launch our new swimwear collection, we headed to beautiful Port Douglas in far North Queensland. Located an hour from Cairns, it’s all palm trees, coconuts & balmy weather. We teamed up with Tourism & Events Queensland to take five influencers to the ultimate summer place. Read on to find out what we got up to in paradise…

We flew lifestyle photographer Cait Miers, fashion blogger Lisa Hamilton, content creator Christina Macpherson, adventurer Olive Cooke and travel blogger Emily Hutchinson to sunny Port Douglas. During their stay, we showed them the best of Queensland from the Great Barrier Reef to the Daintree Rainforest. Keep reading for our trip highlights!

WELCOME LUNCH IN PALM COVE
Nu Nu Restaurant was the perfect spot to welcome everyone to paradise. It has spectacular views of the Coral Sea & is framed by stunning palm trees.

BEACH WORKOUT WITH COCONUTS
If you didn’t work out on the beach with coconuts as weights, were you even in the tropics? We went nuts for squats, sprints & sand planks!

HELI TOUR OVER THE REEF
Seeing the Great Barrier Reef from the air was absolutely breathtaking. As we flew over the array of blues, the pilot explained the history of this World Heritage site. We then landed on a private beach where we were treated to a picnic complete with fresh seafood & champagne. Post-lunch, we went snorkeling in the crystal blue water! Mind. Blowing.

Book via GBR Helicopters.

SUNRISE YOGA
On our final day, we woke up & headed to Four Mile Beach for some yoga. In our new season activewear, the girls did their sun salutations as the incredible sun rose over the ocean… Namaste.

PADDLE BOARDING IN THE DAINTREE RAINFOREST
The Daintree Rainforest is the oldest rainforest in the world. You’ll be in awe at the serenity of this unspoiled wonder. We glided down the Mossman River on stand up paddleboards, taking in the tranquility of the surrounding fauna & flora. Our guide sourced natural clay from the riverbanks to apply as a facemask. Once dry, we flaked it off and rinsed in the crystal clear river water… Who needs a day spa when you have nature?!

Book via Wind Swell.

If you’re looking for your next summer escape, look no further than Port Douglas. You’ll create memories that’ll last far longer than your tan.
