Our Mornington #RunGirlRunClub Trainer, Jasmine Lee, is an F45 PT who is passionate about balanced, intuitive eating to compliment her active lifestyle. Here’s one of her favourite pre/post running snacks… a mocha protein smoothie bowl.
2 frozen bananas chopped
1/2 cup nut milk of choice
1-2 tbls of raw cacao powder
1 shot of coffee or substitute for 1 tsp instant coffee
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp of natural vanilla
1/2 cup of ice
1 scoop of your fave protein! Mine is Bondi Protein Co, Coconut!
Optional: 1 tsp of supplement powders to boost your mineral intake Maca & Mesquite powder
1. Place all ingredients in blender for a minute and blend on high.
2. Transfer into a chilled bowl & top with desired fruit, nuts & crunchy toppings!
I have used a Paleo crunch Blend, Vegan Choc-coated coffee beans by @infnite_official, Almonds & Chia seeds!
