What’s it like filming your videos? We imagine you’d have a lot of fun behind the scenes! Tell us what the average shoot is like?It’s usually never planned so we find whatever location we can, we show up and put the camera out. I teach the girls the choreography in 10 or 15 minutes, and then we shoot it in one take. So it’s really a lot of fun! Everything is on the fly and spontaneous, I’m not one to plan.
How do you think dance and culture in general varies around the world?
It varies so much. Each culture has a completely different way of moving their body and hearing the music. The cool thing is that dance is such a universal language, so no matter who is dancing, you’re still able to understand and feel that emotion. Dance is a really beautiful connecting language.
